This is 40. I really look and feel like I’m walking into my 30s or mid-30s lol!! Seriously though for a moment, I was tempted to go down the rabbit hole on myself comparing my journey to others, and questioning why this and why I’m not doing that, but that’s an easy way to fail. Instead, I choose to be thankful and blessed to be 40 years old and happy about the life I get to live everyday because I know where I come from and have gratitude for where I am. Going into my 40s, I carry decades of lessons learned, mistakes made, and growth achieved. These experiences have brought me here, open to new possibilities, love, healing, and evolution. One thing I’ve learned is that you only get one shot at life. So, forgive yourself, give yourself grace, understand your worth and value, and never let anyone take that from you.
