If so, the Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety is continuing to accept applications for the fall 2024 Citizens Police Academy! Here is what April Dennis, MSU's Center for Survivors office supervisor said about her experience in the academy: "I attended the Citizen’s Police Academy fall of 2023. It was such a wonderful experience. The program offered weekly opportunities that provided such great insight into all the components of the MSU DPPS including all the duties of a police officer. It was a behind the scenes view of a police department. The program covered everything from traffic stops to evidence collection to community relationships.
