(And from airbag & seatbelt safety to medical studies, we know that a woman’s body has rarely been the design standard.) That’s often true for my own gear as well: my training flight suit was selected from a men’s sizing chart, and then hemmed to my needs. But Rykä and their Made for Women shoes are setting a different status quo. They were the first brand ever to create athletic shoes specifically for a woman’s unique foot shape, muscle movement, and build.
