That announcement photo with Delta somehow sums up so much all at once: the joyful surprise of this space baby after my IVF journey, the seven long years of secondary infertility following my precious Delta, the amazement of knowing I’d have two babies watching Mommy fly on my next science spaceflight, and the soul-deep completeness of briefly having the family I believed I was meant to have. Anyway, that photo brought a smile to my face every time I walked into my kitchen for the past two months, and I wanted to share it before I take it down.
