To be honest, I don’t think I’ll truly feel “out of the woods” until Space Baby is born… but these are critical milestones and I want to celebrate each one. Selecting a special purchase after each milestone has brought me so much joy. (I know this moon jacket looks big but I’m due in September and I’m skipping ahead to 12-18 months for the following winter & since that’s all they had lol) I’m so excited to find out the gender. Our clinic knew immediately at the time of genetic testing, but since we only had a single viable embryo to try and transfer anyway, we decided to keep it a surprise for a bit. Originally I thought I’d call to find out if I made it to the 6 week ultrasound, but now I keep moving the goalpost. Partially out of fear, partially to have something to look forward to.
