Just in time for the 6 week ultrasound… 🫶🤢🤍 Until now, this pregnancy has felt purely cerebral— proven only by bloodwork results and pregnancy tests. My body felt hijacked by IVF and various medications for months prior to our embryo transfer, so it would have been impossible to untangle generic ailments like headaches, bloating, tenderness, fatigue, etc from the effects of those hormones. But now, to have an undeniable physical element like nausea adds an entirely new dimension and makes my heart soar with hope that things are really progressing this time, and that this might truly be happening. Just in time for that ultrasound that will prove there’s really something there.
