I officially have a transfer date…. And the panic is setting in. I was pretty devastated to come out of this entire IVF journey with only one healthy embryo, but up until now, I’ve found a little bit of comfort knowing that one single embryo (and all its possibility) is safely frozen. The minute that we transfer it, we enter the absolute coin toss and the ultimate fork in the road for my family’s future. To be completely honest, I almost called and asked to push the date back a few weeks just so I could have a bit more time in the safety of this limbo.
