From September to June last year, Kshirin got exposed to a variety of emerging technologies and mindsets that have shaped her trajectory.
Kshirin chose to do her Focus project on stem cells, exploring pluripotent cells, and the power of cultured stem cells in space, and even came up with a proposal to replace scar tissue with the heart muscle and endothelial cells.
Alongside teammates, Kshirin participated in a challenge with the UNEP and proposed a solution to reduce air pollution by 30% in Delhi by eliminating waste burning. Her solution is being presented to key stakeholders at the UNEP this summer.
