How did a sixteen-year-old land an internship at a leading neurotech company?
When he was only sixteen years old, TKS alum Ahnaaf Khan was a Research Development Intern at
@choosemuse. That's impressive, but how did he do it?
Ahnaaf shares, "This past year, I was part of a human accelerator called The Knowledge Society (TKS), through them, I was able to follow my curiosity into the neurotech space. I thought that neuroscience was really cool, but didn’t want to only do scientific research and leaned towards computer science and technology. After finding neurotech, it seemed almost obvious to dive deep into it."
At TKS, we emphasize the importance of networking by pushing our students to set up meetings with other fellow students, mentors, and anyone they are curious about. This skill is further tested when they get opportunities to attend large tech conferences where they're exposed to influential people within the industry.
