"I have been a photographer for 15 years and have been working purely analog for three years. In contrast to digital photography, the colors of analog film cannot be imitated, nor can the grain. Analog photography is a craft and encourages conscious use in times of millions of images per day. In my work, I focus on the western USA. The barren landscapes, overhead power lines, old farms, the gigantic expanses of nature and the rusty industry exude a romanticism on me like nothing else. This is where my passions for artistic documentary photography and traveling come together.
