Do you recognize this quintessential Galveston Landmark? Built in 1882, the Trueheart-Adriance Building has stood the test of time with the intricate exterior barely changing in 143 years. Designed by Nicholas J. Clayton, the building became home to the H.M. Trueheart & Co. realty firm, the first in Texas. The firm continued in the building until selling the operation in 1953. Many businesses have occupied this historic building since then.
