#OnThisDay in 1986, Stevie Wonder headlined a concert at the Kennedy Center that also featured bobdylan, Eddie Murphy, dianaross, therealdebbieallen, quincyjones, the Pointer Sisters, and others to celebrate the first national observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. 🎶 The federal holiday was signed into law in 1983, but not observed until 1986.
