I have thoroughly enjoyed making these little cuties. Each mini is entirely unique because I place the top stone to flow with the shape of the inks below. With minis, I completely allow the inks to do what they want, creating unique shapes and forms. Ink, as a free-flowing medium, creates beautiful details when it is allowed to move as it likes. I then hand-select my favorite parts to become a mini. One thing I love about minis is that I am able to fully lock in on one, and then move to the next before I can obsess over “Is it perfect?” I come back to each mini with fresh eyes, which is hugely helpful in the creative process. I have been loving all the green in the studio lately. I can’t wait to finish these cuties. #art #artist #painting #creating
