Today, I’m remembering the 11 beautiful lives taken and those who were injured six years ago at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. They were shot as they prayed for no other reason than that they were Jewish.
In a time of increasing intolerance and prejudice, I am more proud than ever of my Jewish faith. Attacks like these are meant to silence us, but I know the Jewish community, one so full of bravery and endurance, will never back down in the work to
#DisarmHate.
May their memories be a blessing.
