Even though I did not know him personally, I know that he was an amazing and selfless person that always tried to help those he cared about, even if it made his life harder. The stories my mom, aunts, and grandma share about him let his memory live on with me, even thought I was never able to meet him. Almost everyone I know has lost a loved one, family member, or friend to cancer. Relay For Life allows me to still make an impact, no matter how small, in helping those with cancer.
