Right now, Los Angeles is facing a heartbreaking crisis with more than 80,000 people evacuated due to the fires impacting our communities. Pacific Palisades, where the Getty Villa stands, is one of the areas heavily affected, and my heart goes out to everyone in these neighborhoods and beyond. LA is my home, and thankfully we are safe, but the heavy smoke and ash has already reached us as of last evening. I’m hoping these fires can be put out quickly and safely.
