Leica SL3 launch day — I had the honor of going to test out the NEW Leica SL3. It’s been hard to keep quiet about this camera because it was such a joy to use. The power button is probably one the biggest talking points of this camera. 99% of cameras have a lever but this now has a button. I love it. Leica has put an emphasis on the camera working hand in hand with the Leica Photos app. You can keep the camera in your backpack and access the photos through the Leica photos app. That means you can photograph a session. Put your camera away and then start editing on your commute home and posting photos without having to touch the camera again. I think every camera company needs to start improving their apps and make them like Leica has it! And then there’s a ton of tech spec updates but that rarely matters anymore with how good cameras are nowadays. Biggest upgrades for me is the smaller body and the flip screen.
