Wow in the midst of what feels like so much going wrong in the world, I can honestly say I feel blessed. I’m so grateful for an organization like habitatla that through a singular mission of affordable homeownership has transformed so many lives. While I had started planning to for my birthday with the Habitat team in July, never did I think we’d be hit by catastrophic fires that would make Habitat’s work more critical than ever for long term recovery. I thank each and every one of you for the many birthday wishes.
