There is such joy in community and fighting for the rights of animals that deserve to live free. Yet coupled with the joy is the heartbreak of the reality that we are dealing with. Corky was captured in 1969 - I was gutted to watch the videos and news reports of trying to free Corky after 20 years in captivity in the 90s!!!! The freaking 90s and Corky is still prisoner today. I really don’t understand but what I do know is we have to continue to advocate for the voiceless and bring about a more understanding and empathetic world.
