I chose stoptheclot for the nfl #MyCauseMyCleats initiative. In early 2018, I was diagnosed with pulmonary emboli, better known as blood clots in my lungs. At the time it completely changed my life and nearly derailed my football career. Through faith, resilience, and great medical care, I was able to overcome them. Prior to my diagnosis, I had no idea of how common blood clots were. Blood clots do not discriminate. They can affect anyone, regardless of age, ethnicity, or race. I want to bring more awareness to blood clotting while also encouraging others who are currently experiencing what I’ve gone through. You are not alone and keep the faith!
