As of this morning, the USGS has identified at least 244 landslides associated with #Helene in the Southeast. Most of these are in North Carolina. This was done by aircraft and on the ground in places with easier access. With weakened slopes, any rainfall in the next few weeks will keep debris flow and landslide risk higher than normal. The map shows the location of those slides that are already in identified. Flagged landslides include those that impacted rivers, roads, and structures.
