Introducing faculty member, Natalie Desch nataliedesch for our newest summer intensive: Joffrey Akron joffreyakron in Akron, Ohio! Joffrey Akron is a rigorous two-week multi-genre intensive which focuses on the study of technique across multiple genres. Dancers will have the opportunity to improve technique, artistry, versatility, and overall stamina in preparation for the fall dance season. Natalie Desch, a BFA graduate of Juilliard and an MFA graduate of the University of Washington, performed with the Limón Dance Company and Doug Varone and Dancers, along with various productions at the Metropolitan Opera. She has restaged works by José Limón, Doug Varone, Jirí Kylián, and Daniel Charon worldwide, and her choreography has been showcased across the country. Since relocating to Salt Lake City in 2014, Natalie has taught at Creative Arts Academy and became an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah's School of Dance in 2019.
