Introducing faculty member, Kara Cea karamcea for our newest summer intensive: Joffrey Akron joffreyakron in Akron, Ohio! Joffrey Akron is a rigorous two-week multi-genre intensive which focuses on the study of technique across multiple genres. Dancers will have the opportunity to improve technique, artistry, versatility, and overall stamina in preparation for the fall dance season. Kara Cea, a graduate of the University of Akron with a B.A. in Psychology, B.F.A. in Dance Performance, and M.A. in Arts Administration, discovered her passion for dance at the Dance Institute at the University of Akron. She performed with The Ohio Ballet, Eliot Feld Ballet, and other major companies. Now a faculty member at the University of Akron's School of Dance, Theater, and Arts Administration, Kara teaches Dance Education and Pedagogy.
