I was only repeating what my father told Me when I reunited with him when I was 27years old, he told me how thousands fled to Israel and all over the world. After going to Eritrea many times, I now know what he said was what he said and not the whole truth. I remember going there for the 1st time scared that I would go to jail for my religious beliefs. My cousin had told me a crazy story about someone going to jail because of their religion but they weren’t Jewish. But I was still scared. I got there to Eritrea and learned how loving the people are. I also learned the country was under attack for 30years+ and it was barely ever talked about in the USA no one protested for the lives of Eritrea women in children in America.
