Merry Christmas Eve everyone! 🎄 I can’t tell if the overwhelming feeling of joy I’m experiencing today is because we FINALLY have our Georgie girl or maybe it’s because Christmas with a baby brings back all the childlike magic or maybe its both of those things wrapped into one. 🎁 I should feel older as another year passes but I feel the same excitement rumbling through my body as I did as a kid during Christmas. I have always loved Xmas but this feels different! Todd will now have two kids to take care of this holiday. 😂 Also I’m feeling so much gratitude not only for the luck that finally came our way but for our beautiful surrogate Mikayla who helped bring Georgie to us. (And she’s still so supportive through these early days…wish she lived closer) Also for our Drs that never gave up and most importantly for Todd who let me lead the way, let me keep going on our crazy infertility journey and let me make some decisions that at the time probably seemed futile…Tk we got her! 🎀🎄...
