I had waited til the anatomy scan to hear the heartbeat for the first time. All my other appts I just wanted to hear the dr say “everything looks good” The fun parts didn’t feel real yet. But Mikayla in the appt said “let’s finally hear that heartbeat” and I was ready. She snuck this video in and sent it to me later and I love watching it back. Both Todd and I were so happy and relieved to have another good appt, especially a big one like the anatomy scan. It’s still hard to believe it all. P.s I see all of you in the wait. I was you for so long and my heart remembers the ache and aches for all of you going through infertility or pregnancy loss. I am rooting so hard for you.
