Heart Attacks
Symptoms of a heart attack include chest pain most commonly, but can also present as shortness of breath, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, sweating, and back/arm pain.
Heart attacks, or myocardial infarctions, occur every 40 seconds in the United States. Approximately 800,000 people have a heart attack per year. Black adults are more likely to die from myocardial infarction.
