I fix broken hearts for a living 🖤. Love being a heart doc. Although blacks make up only 13% of the population, they are twice as likely to die from heart disease. Less than 3% of cardiologist are black. Precisely 4% of cardiologist are black women and 3% of cardiologist are black men. I chose this field for that reason specifically.
