Bulldogs vs. Wildcats. Vikings vs. Panthers. One-minute arguments. Van votes. Winner moves on. It started as a way to pass the time—but it became tradition. Now, it’s virtual. But every year, I find a way to level it up. Last year was Funko Pops. A few years back, everyone designed their own mascot. This year? Pokémon. I used ChatGPT’s new features to turn every teammate and their high school mascot into a custom sprite. Then built an overworld map, designed the bracket reveal, and set the stage for six days of fierce debates inside Opendorse. No one knows the theme until the bracket drops—and honestly, I just have a blast putting it all together. This year’s intro turned out too good not to share.
