Artist Spotlight: Lu Meng ✨
Beijing-born and self-taught, Lu Meng creates acrylic paintings that blend fantasy, expressionism, and surrealism, inviting viewers into dreamlike realms where animals, figures, and colors collide in beautiful chaos.
With roots in Chinese Traditional Painting (studied since age 4) and a past life as a documentary director at China Central Television, her work is both introspective and expansive. Now based in Beijing, she also explores photography and therapeutic art, bringing emotion to the forefront of every medium.
Her work has been featured in Holy Art (London), Post Wave Art Festival (Beijing), Disabled Artists’ Network CIC, and platforms like ART Hole, Artweblist, Mvibe, and more.
“Dream is an invitation. Art is an escape.”
Lu’s paintings are maps of imagination—where nature, accident, and bold color tell layered stories, and where fantasy becomes a hymn to the natural world.
