✨NEW BLACK ART EXHIBIT IN WASHINGTON, DC✨ 📌 hirshhorn The Hirshhorn Museum has welcomed an exclusive solo exhibit by pendleton.adam , a Richmond, VA native, entitled “Love, Queen.” This exhibit features Pendleton’s “Black Dada”, “Days”, “WE ARE NOT”, and new “Composition” and “Movement” paintings. All of these pieces are designed to ignite imaginative potential allowing you to think beyond what you see. In addition, this exhibit concludes with the debut of “Resurrection City Revisited (Who Owns Geometry Anyway?)”. This work includes still & moving images of Resurrection City, the military encampment erected on the National Mall in the spring and summer of 1968, which is considered to be the culmination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Poor People’s Canpaign. This exhibit opens on April 4, 2025 and does not require a reservation.
