Senior nursing students taking our 4150 Community Health course partnered with @firstlightsc to collect donations and create informational resources. First Light South Carolina is a nonprofit agency supporting survivors of sexual assault & child abuse in Anderson & Oconee Counties. They have a Sexual Trauma Center, Child Advocacy Center, and Child Abuse Prevention Program. The students fundraised over $500 to purchase snacks, stuffed animals, blankets and gift card donations. They also constructed a brochure about First Light SC to hand out to individuals in the emergency room and community. #ClemsonNursing #TigerNurses #Service
