The clutch victory was the two-time champion’s first since the season opener and required a masterful effort, fighting back from fifth to pull it off. @jaredmeesracing had worked up a near one-second advantage, but a mistake in which he nearly collided with the Airfence allowed Bauman to take full advantage of traffic and erase the deficit in the final minute. The triumph thrusts Bauman right back into title contention after his prospects had seemed to slim in the previous weeks. “I had a decent start but kind of got shuffled back.
