At 6:01 pm, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was tragically shot on the balcony outside room 306 at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. King was immediately taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he was declared deceased at 7:05 pm. Today, as we remember April 4th, we honor Dr. King's profound legacy by continuing our dedication to justice, peace, and equality.
