Roles include the executive vice president, external affairs vice president, academic affairs vice president, transfer student representative and student advocate. The role of the external affairs vice president, or EAVP, is to represent UC Berkeley students at the local, state and national level. If elected executive vice president, or EVP, one of three candidates will serve as the chair of the ASUC senate and manage space and funding allocation for all registered student organizations.
