Senator Cory Booker's longtime staffer was arrested at the Capitol on Monday for carrying a gun. The Democratic Hill worker, Kevin Batts, 59, is a special assistant to the New Jersey senator and retired law enforcement officer. U.S. Capitol Police said in a statement on Tuesday their arrest of Batts the day prior was for carrying a firearm without a license.
