Yonmario Vera Bracho is a young cocoa producer from Mérida state, Venezuela. He is part of the third cohort of Young Agripreneurs, a training program by Nestlé Needs YOUth. Additionally, Yonmario and his family are beneficiaries of the Nestlé Cocoa Plan, through which they have received guidance and technical support and have seen the growth of their family farm as suppliers to Nestlé. He works on a three-acre cocoa farm with his grandmother and cousin. Under the Nestlé Cocoa Plan, they have received cocoa plants, which helps individual farmers grow more on family plots. Motivating, accompanying, and supporting the new generations of agripreneurs, like Yonmario, is a key part of our vision for a more sustainable future with the Nestlé Cocoa Plan.
