Three Diamond Heel pitchers combined to throw a seven-inning no-hitter – the program’s first official no-hitter since 1999 – against Gardner-Webb at Boshamer Stadium Tuesday night. UNC won 11-1 in a game ended after the top of the seventh due to the 10-run rule. Folger Boaz (three innings), Olin Johnson (three innings) and Camron Seagraves (one inning) each silenced the Gardner-Webb bats, with Johnson picking up the win in relief of Boaz.
