I’m honored beyond words to share that I’m one of two adventurers chosen by visitcarsoncity to complete the Carson City to Canada Quest this year! While I’ll be attempting to thru-hike the entire Pacific Crest Trail, I’ll be taking a detour about 1,100 miles in to check out Carson City. There, I’ll hop onto the Capital to Tahoe Trail, beginning at the steps of the capitol building, and hiking back to the PCT then onward to Canada! That means that not only will I get to hike the PCT this year, but I’ll get some support while doing it. This contest has been a tremendous blessing for me as it has helped to give me the courage to step away from work and life for six months for a great adventure. I’m feeling tremendously blessed, grateful, and ready to hit the trail!
