On March 10, farm manager Lori Henderickson experienced a once-in-a-lifetime surprise: healthy twin fillies out of surfsidestables Kona Kai. With twin births from horses incredibly rare, the trio was closely monitored and spent a week at roodandriddle equine hospital under the care of neonatal specialist Dr. Bonnie Barr.
