The Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets will hold a hearing over the JFK files on Tuesday afternoon.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fl.), chairwoman of the task force announced the news in a press release.
Potential witnesses expected to attend include American filmmaker Oliver Stone, independent journalist and author Jefferson Morley and researcher and author James DiEugenio.
Stone has been a vocal proponent of the conspiracy theories surrounding the subject.
The Trump administration recently released a trove of documents titled “Declassification of Records Concerning the Assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.” This comes as part of President Donald Trump’s promise to declassify these files and shed light on events that have long been kept from the public.
