The District Attorney for Tuscaloosa County Hayes Webb says it's unfortunately common for local law enforcement to find Glock switches on guns during an arrest or at a crime scene.
He shared he's in favor of the Glock switch ban legislation that prosecutors say will result in more arrests and less violence in communities.
Before the Glock switch ban, local law enforcement could not take actions against seeing someone with a Glock switch. Now with the state ban, action can be taken.
He wants Tuscaloosa County and communities in Alabama to be as safe as possible and hopes the action taken will keep converted firearms away from the youth.
