The Way Life Should Be. That’s the first thing you read on the road sign welcoming you to Maine. Fittingly, it’s also the first thing that pops into your head when you’re at a hearts_sc game. The crisp smell of wood fire perfumes the air, neighbors huddle close for a bit of warmth, and thousands of footy romantics let their minds wander for 90 minutes. This time it was 120+ minutes. No matter how long it took, though, all of us knew that the night would end with a victory—someway, somehow. We’d sensed that magic just a couple of weeks back in the first round of the Open Cup.
