The Junior Board groups gave their final presentations on April 1 in the SMEast office conference room. Each team has spent the school year creating their presentations, and researching all aspects of their chosen organization, making sure they researched all the different areas in the group. The Kanbe’s Markets team won first place, earning a $2,500 grant for their organization. The KC Hospice group won $2,000 coming in second place and Upper Room KC won $1,500 coming in third place  Junior Board is an organization where you pick a team of 3-5 people and research a non-profit organization to raise money for. The leaders of the junior board are the share chairs and Erin Billingsly.
