Then there was the time Voltron turned into a ball of anti-antigravity energy. And it happened by accident! In Voltron Frees the Slaves, Lotor and Haggar came up with a way to weaponize gravity "with a combination of evil magic and science". However, instead of making Voltron slow and helpless, the anti-gravity weapon brought the Lions together. The villains didn't take into consideration the anti-gravity devices that allowed each Lion to fly. As a bonus, it acted as a shield against attempts to use gravity against them.
