UT Energy Week brought inspiring dialogue, collaboration and innovation in the energy sector to the Forty Acres. Hosted by the energy_ut and the kbhenergycenter, this five-day event featured: a nuclear symposium and an energy infrastructure summit; student competitions; a walking tour of the Carl J. Eckhardt Combined Heating & Power Complex, which powers our campus and is one of the largest microgrids in the U.S.; and much more.
With 30+ energy centers and programs, 400+ energy researchers, 80+ industry partners collaborating on research and projects, and $854M in energy-related funding over the last decade, UT will continue to pioneer advancements in energy to create secure, affordable and sustainable energy solutions.
