Today’s the day! The Table Rock fire is officially fully contained, as well as the Persimmon fire that was near Awanita. The Blue Team sent out their final update this morning, and we are so relieved to share that there are firelines around the entire 60-mile perimeter of the Table Rock complex. They've cold-trailed the areas too rugged for fireline construction, and the Persimmon fire is also fully contained. There is no remaining heat! With all the rain, we can be extra confident that the fires are in the clear. The teams are now working on repairing firelines, installing water bars, and minimizing any potential erosion from fireline construction. They’re focused on leaving the area as close to its original state as possible. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and sacrifice of these firefighters.
