Javier Mascherano said LAFC's Nathan Ordaz, who appeared to elbow Inter Miami defender Maximiliano Falcón in the face, would have received a red card "here and in China and the moon" for his challenge. Ordaz was only shown a yellow card after a lengthy VAR review, and he went on to score the winning goal for LAFC in the first leg of their Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinal series.
