All four artists are represented by the prestigious hauserwirth Last spring a similar harmonic convergence occurred with LaToya Ruby Fraizer and Alex Katz and Joan Jonas at MOMA. Once, four artists from the same gallery would have raised eyebrows. Shown a lack of creative thinking. Or confirm a consolidation of artists at the top of the gallery chain. Today: The art world is changing, becoming more open to Black artists and artists-of-color, women, queer, disabled, outsiders, and many others.
