These aren’t your mama’s rice krispies. Ingredients - 1/2 cup butter - 1 (10-oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows - 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips - 6 cups Cocoa Puffs cereal (from 1 [12-oz.] pkg.) - 1/2 tsp. flaky sea salt (optional) Directions 1. Coat an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray; line pan with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang on all sides. Coat parchment with cooking spray. Set aside. 2. Melt butter in a large pot over medium-high. Continue to cook melted butter until browned, 5 to 6 minutes. Add miniature marshmallows; cook, stirring constantly, until almost entirely melted, about 1 minute. Remove from heat. Using a rubber spatula, fold in chocolate chips; stir mixture until smooth, about 1 minute. Fold in cereal until evenly coated. 3. Pour cereal mixture into prepared pan.
